Fragrance is Fake.
When you see the word fragrance on a candle, cream or cleaning supply, it is made with chemical compounds sourced from petroleum. Using synthetic fragrances can lead to (or exacerbate existing) health risks, like asthma, allergies, headaches, migraines, hormone disruption, cancer, toxicity, and central nervous system disorders. And fragrances are not great for Mother Earth, either, as they create air pollution, water pollution, dangers to the coral reef, risks to amphibians and marine wildlife, and contamination of our food supply. On the plus side, they smell nice. Sort of.
Choose fragrance-free. (Note that products labeled ‘Unscented’ might have double contaminants- one that produces a smell and another to mask the smell.)

If you like being scented, find organic, source verified essential oils and create your own bespoke scent. Instead of carcinogens, essential oils are full of botanical compounds that heal and align the body.
